What the Telegram channel is for
The channel is where we post what has shipped, what broke and what is planned, and it is the fastest way to reach us when something is wrong. It is also how unlimited storage stays free: being in the channel is the condition, so the cost to you is a follow rather than a payment.
The condition is ongoing rather than a one time step. We re-check membership, and if you leave, the account returns to Free. Nothing is deleted when that happens; only new uploads stop while you are over 2 TB.
Questions
Is unlimited storage really free?
Yes, and it is conditional rather than a one time step. Link your Telegram account and join our channel and your storage cap is lifted for as long as you stay in the channel. Leave the channel and the account returns to Free, which is 2 TB.
What counts toward my storage?
Everything you hold, including the Recycle Bin and any copies, the same way Google Drive counts it. Emptying the Recycle Bin is the only thing that frees storage.
What counts toward my monthly transfer?
Downloads and streaming. A shared link spends the owner's allowance whoever asked for the bytes, so sharing a large file widely uses your allowance rather than theirs. Uploads do not count toward transfer.
What happens if I go over a limit?
New uploads are refused and the message says which limit you reached. Every file you already have stays downloadable, streamable and shareable. Nothing is deleted.
How do I pay for Pro?
Message us on Telegram and we will set it up by hand. There is no checkout on the site yet, so nothing is charged automatically and there is no subscription to cancel.
