The short answer
DeepStorage gives 2 TB free, and unlimited storage at no cost when you link Telegram and join our channel. Next comes TeraBox, with 1 TB and ads on the free plan. Most of the well-known services give far less.
Every free plan, largest first
| Service | Free storage | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| DeepStorage | 2 TB, unlimited with our Telegram channel | No file size limit for uploads from your browser. |
| TeraBox | 1 TB | Ads on the free plan. 4 GB per file on Free. |
| MEGA | 20 GB | Ads in the app. |
| Google Drive | 15 GB, shared with Gmail and Photos | 5 TB per file, only with that much storage to hold it. An account unused for 2 years may be deleted. |
| Box | 10 GB | 250 MB per file. |
| Icedrive | 10 GB | |
| Koofr | 10 GB | |
| MediaFire | 10 GB | Ads on standard downloads. 5 GB per file. |
| OneDrive | 5 GB, shared with photos and email attachments | |
| iCloud | 5 GB | |

| Dropbox | 2 GB | Up to 3 devices. |
| Seedr | 2 GB | No bigger than your free space (2 GB on Free). |

Look past the number
A large free plan is not the whole story. Before you move everything, check what a plan limits besides space: ads, the size of each file, how much you can add each month, and what happens to an account you stop using.
Questions
Which free cloud storage is the largest?
Of the plans on this page, DeepStorage gives the most: 2 TB free, and unlimited storage at no cost when you link Telegram and join our channel. TeraBox comes next, with 1 TB and ads on the free plan.
What is the catch with a large free plan?
Usually ads, a limit on the size of each file, or a limit on how much you can add. DeepStorage's is a monthly allowance for new uploads: 50 GB a month on Free and 200 GB with our Telegram channel.
Can I rely on free cloud storage?
Keep a second copy of anything you cannot lose, whichever service you use, and read what each one does with an account you stop using. Google, for one, says an account unused for 2 years may be deleted.
