Save files from a link, straight to your storage

Paste a download link. Our servers fetch the file and save it to your storage, so it never passes through your device or your connection.

How it works

  1. In My Files, choose Save from Link.
  2. Paste a link to a file.
  3. Our servers fetch the file and save it to your storage. Watch its progress, or close the page: it carries on.
  4. Open, stream or share the file as soon as it is saved.

Links to archives

Paste a link to a ZIP, RAR, 7z or TAR archive, or open one in My Files. Browse what is inside, pick the files you want and save just those, without downloading the whole archive yourself. From a ZIP, only the files you pick are read. A single compressed file (.gz, .bz2, .xz or .zst) is unpacked into My Files the same way.

Links to video pages

A link to a page with a video on it, rather than to the file itself, is imported as a video, up to 2 GB each. On the Free and Community plans, importing a video from a link costs 5 credits; paid plans spend no credits.

From Telegram, or a torrent

Once your account is linked, send a link to our Telegram bot and it saves the file to your storage the same way. For a magnet link or a .torrent file, our servers download the torrent instead.

How torrents work

Questions

Which links work?

A direct link to a file: one that starts a download when you open it. Its server has to say how big the file is; a link that does not cannot be saved, so download the file and upload it instead.

Is there a size limit?

Not on the size of one file. It has to fit your storage and your monthly uploads: 50 GB a month on Free, 200 GB with our Telegram channel, and more on paid plans.

Does it cost anything?

Saving a file from a link costs nothing on any plan.
