A better home for the files you keep in Telegram
Telegram is a great messenger and a handy place to drop files. When the files pile up, DeepStorage gives them folders, search and links anyone can open.

Where Telegram falls short as storage
- Files are messages, in the order you sent them, and tags in Saved Messages are for Premium only.
- Telegram takes 2 GB per file, or 4 GB with Premium.
- Sharing a file means sending it to another Telegram account.
- Telegram cannot save a file from a link by itself, and a bot can fetch a file from a link only up to 20 MB.
- Telegram puts a speed limit on downloads, which Premium lifts.
And if you keep files there, know that an account offline for 18 months is deleted, unless you change that in Settings.
What DeepStorage adds
- Folders, and search across every file you keep.
- Share links that open in any browser, for anyone, with no account needed.
- Files saved from a link or a torrent by our servers, of any size.
- Video that plays in the browser with seeking.
- No limit on the size of a file you upload from your browser.
Moving your files across
- Sign up, then link your Telegram account from My plan.
- Forward the files you keep in Telegram to our Telegram bot.
- Each one lands in your storage, ready to put in a folder or share with a link.
Tools built on your own Telegram account
Some open-source tools put a file manager on top of your own Telegram account. Each needs some setup, as its own documentation says:
| Tool | What it needs | Largest file |
|---|---|---|
| Teldrive | Your own server with PostgreSQL, and a Telegram account | Not stated in its documentation |
| Telegram Drive | Your own Telegram API ID and hash, and a Telegram login | 2,000,000,000 bytes per file |

DeepStorage needs none of that: sign up in your browser, and link Telegram only when you want the bot or the Community plan.
Questions
Can I move files from Telegram to DeepStorage?
Yes. Link your Telegram account, then forward files to our Telegram bot: each one lands in your storage, ready to share with a link.
Do I need a Telegram account to use DeepStorage?
No. Sign up with an email address, Google or GitHub. Linking Telegram and joining our channel is how a free account gets unlimited storage, and how the bot knows whose files it is saving.
Can people open my files without Telegram?
Yes. A share link opens in any browser, and a video plays there with seeking, with no account of any kind.
